CAMPERSHIP

Helping youth grow, connect, and thrive.

Supporting youth with structured programs that build confidence, wellness, and life skills—helping every child grow stronger each day through guidance and care.

About the Campership Program

Looking for extracurricular activities for your foster youth outside of school? Join us.

Since 2019, the Campership program has offered fun, safe, and educational sports camp experiences to eligible foster youth ages 6–17 under the supervision of DCFS vendors. Our camps are also open to the public within the same age range. Held during school breaks, afterschool, and on weekends, Campership provides supervised indoor and outdoor activities—including games, field trips, sports events, mentorship, and daily nutritious meals and snacks.

Purpose & Benefits

The Campership Program is designed to create equitable access to high-quality camp experiences that support youth mental, physical, and social development. Through structured activities, mentorship, and a safe environment, youth build resilience, confidence, and healthy habits that extend beyond camp.

Participation helps youth strengthen peer relationships, improve physical and emotional wellness, gain consistent mentorship, and develop confidence and self-advocacy skills. Our goal is to create meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and fun.

Where Fear Meets Fun

Our impact is measured not just in numbers, but in moments—moments where young people overcome hesitation, discover their strength, and realize they’re capable of more than they thought. These statistics represent every athlete who showed up nervous but left inspired, every volunteer who chose to serve their community, and every coach who committed to guiding the next generation. This is where fear meets fun, and where confidence is built one experience at a time.
